Sodium hydrosulfide solution is a very important chemical raw material. It is used in fertilizer industry to remove sulfur in desulfurizing agent, in dyestuff industry mainly used in synthesizing organic intermediates and preparing auxiliary of sulfur dyestuff, and in tanning industry used in dehairing and tanning of raw hides and so on. It is also the raw material for the manufacture of ammonium sulfide, ethanethiol, mercaptopropionic acid and polyphenylene sulfide, and plays an important role in organic synthesis and three-waste treatment. For the preparation of sodium hydrosulfide from industrial hydrogen sulfide, especially for the process of preparing sodium hydrosulfide from industrial hydrogen sulfide originating from petrochemical acid gas, a method for removing the odor of sodium hydrosulfide solution is provided. Industrial hydrogen sulfide, especially hydrogen sulfide from petrochemical acid gas, contains some organic and inorganic impurities (e.g., aromatic hydrocarbons, saturated hydrocarbons, sulfur-containing compounds, etc.) which have an odor and affect the quality of the product, because it is difficult to remove these impurities. Using this method is not only simple in process operation and low in equipment requirements, but more importantly, it improves the quality of the industrial sodium hydrosulfide solution, further improves its practical value, greatly satisfies the requirements of customers and the market, and has greater social and economic value.
The specific technical solution adopted is as follows: in the industrially produced sodium hydrosulfide solution, add a composite adsorbent (one or more of activated carbon, carbon fiber, industrial-grade multi-walled carbon nanotubes) of 0.5%-1% of the mass of the sodium hydrosulfide solution, and stir the reaction for 2-5h at 30°C-60°C, and filter it after the reaction to obtain the odorless sodium hydrosulfide solution; wherein the composite adsorbent is composed of the following components: by weight, the adsorbent: 1 part, the modifier (a crown ether modifier, selected from any one of 12-crown ether-4. 15-crown ether-5. 12-crown ether-4. 2.2-dimethyl-15-crown ether-5.) : 2-5 parts; the preparation method is as follows: the adsorbent is dispersed in the modifier, filtered by stirring for 30-60min at 30-40°C, and then dried at 30°C, thereby obtaining the composite adsorbent. After modification, the adsorption capacity of the composite adsorbent is more prominent, and the adsorption speed and adsorption amount are greatly improved, reducing the processing time and the use of adsorbent, while not affecting the content of sodium hydrosulfide and not introducing other impurities, and the composite adsorbent can be removed by filtration.
