Appearance and description: White to colorless cubic crystals with an odor of hydrogen sulfide. Normally, its solution is used in industrial products, with orange or yellow color.

In leather industry, it is used for dehairing and tanning of raw hides, and effluent treatment. In fertilizer industry, it is used for removing elemental sulfur from activated carbon desulfurizers. What’s more, it is also used as raw material for production of ammonium sulfide and semi-finished pesticides. In mining industry, it is extensively used for copper ore beneficiation. In the production of synthetic fiber, it is used for dyeing.
